    Summary :

    In this study melancholic depression was evaluated in psychoanalytic perpective. The study consists of three parts. The first chapter, the melancholy in the past to the present times, the process consists of lectures, researchers work with melancholy about the definitions and conceptualization. In the second chapter of melancholy, particularly psychoanalysts, including Sigmund Freud on the assessment takes place. In this assessments ars discussed in comparison with differences and similarities between mourning and melancholy. In the last chapter we can assess as a brief summary of the study. At the same time, melancholic subjects external and internal reality are how to use.
