    Summary :

In the present paper bulimia nervosa and its psychoanalytical explanations are evaluated according to the dependency issues resulting from the early experiences of a child. The dependency of the little infant and his relationship with the maternal object is also discussed under the light of psychoanalytical theory. Maternal care, early dependency to the object, maternal disappointments and following problems during the development of the child are discussed in relation with the development of an eating disorder. Projective tests of a 17 year old girl with bulimic psychopathology are also presented in the paper. The Rorschach Test and TAT are coded and interpreted according to the French School of projective tests. The content analysis of the tests are also discussed in relation with the dependency issues.
