    Summary :

This work proposes a psychoanalytical approach to bulimic psychopathology. The study concerns a case of a 20 years old girl, accepted as bulimia nervosa, and in the study the intersection of bulimia nervosa and hysterical vomiting is questioned. The materials used as investigation are the Rorschach Test and the psychoanalytical interview of the patient. When the Rorschach Test is evaluated it is clearly seen that the case does not carry the signs of an eating disorder but it mostly looks like a protocol of an hysterical neurosis. The Oedipal conflicts, the absence of bodily conncerns related to body image, the affective intensity and the way of vomiting makes puts this case in-between hysterical vomiting and bulimia nervosa.
