  • THE EVALUATION OF CHILDHOOD PSYCHOSIS WITH PROJECTIVE TESTS

    Summary :

This paper is concerned with the description and symptoms of child psychosis in the latency period. The article also includes the evaluation of child psychosis with the projective tests (Rorschach-CAT). Some manifestations of childhood psychotic organisation are illustrated on the basis of psychotic chidren's responses in projective tests. It appears that psychotic organisation in the latency period is highly marked by the discontinuity in the sense of identity, impairment in reality testing, poorly articulated boundaries between self and nonself and between fantasy and reality. In fact, indices as contamination and confabulation can be understood as measures of this severity of boundary disturbance.
