The aim of this study is to work out the prepsychotic processes in adolescents. The Rorschach Test was administered to a total of 15 adolescents consisting of 7 girls and 8 boys who consulted to the Pediatric Centre of ?stanbul Medical Faculty with the diagonisis of prepychoses. As S.Freud pointed out, the ideas designate the representations, affects and unconscious embodiments. The characteristics and functions of thought processes aim at understanding the drives and the affects. The difference between thought processes of prepychoses and that of the psychotic and borderline organizations in terms of internal and external limits, temporality, causality and the problems belonging to a specific thinking style are tried to be comprehended. The study aims to find out the place of thinking in daily clinical practice with prepsychotic adolescents by using the results of the Rorschach Test.
