The most widely used projective tests in the clinical study has been standardized in Turkey since 2003 within the adulı, adolescent and elderly normative studies. Although the banal responses in different countries are similar and the studies conducted for these responses are free from cultural differences, the responses of the elderly in our country which are given for the second card to the red location below had got the banal response of "blood" had given the idea of this study. However the red colour in the second and the other cards has been evaluated as a sign of activation of the sexual and aggressive drives, it has been evaluated differently in adolescence and adult studies then the elderly study. The "raw" form of this response in the elderly people has made us think of other possible interpretations. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the "blood" responses of the elderly as a social and adaptative kind of response with ? ???choanalytical ?xplanation.
