There are mainly three major crisis periods in in individual?s life and these periods contain fragilities. Hence, these fragilities are traumatic and disorganizing in nature. Researches made on infants posits that insufficient containment after a traumatic event causes long lasting damages on self-representations. In this study, a 34 year-old woman patient diagnosed with Dependency Personality Disorder whose complaints have increased after being abandoned by her husband has been analyzed through projective tests. The tests reveal that the patient?s object representations are persecute in nature and she has difficulties in forming a clear self-representation. In connection to this, the outer world is regarded as uncanny and internal-external boundaries are hardly be distinguished.
