    Summary :

    Coronary disease serves in this paper as an example for a psychoanalytical lecture of physical disorders. Competitiveness, hyperactivity, hostility and time urgency, features of type A behavior profile, considered as toxic high risk factors of coronary disease, get related to an attempt of disavowing passivity and dependence and to a refusal of the lack perception. Psychic drive and infantile helplessness motivate the object encounter and the lack phenomenon constructs the arms of depressiveness against separation and passivity. Disease may be an experience of loss during which ideal and activity shall be the last fortifications before depression's break down.
