After a necessary detour by the historical psychiatric and psychoanalytic illumination of the concept of paranoia, the article proposes a brief point on the main authors who have contributed to highlight the paranoid manifestations in the projective tests of the Rorschach and the TAT. Even if it is more about the Rorschach, the description of the mechanisms is addressed to both of the two tests. Examples then illustrate the different versions of paranoiac anxiety and defenses that fight against it.
