Chronic pain has a distinct place in the psychic world and is regarded as a psychosomatic concept. The main aim of this study is to analyze the psychic functioning of the women with chronic back pain. There are 30 women with chronic low back pain in the research group. Rorschach Test were applied to the participants. The results are discussed with various examples of responses where the thought processes were centered around operational thinking where the instinctual drives can be thought as being frozen.
